About Rails Genius and me

Hey there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I share my love for Ruby on Rails. This blog was born out of a desire to give back just a tiny bit to the framework that’s given me so much over the years. After all this time working with Rails, I’ve gained some knowledge that I think might be helpful for others.

One thing I’ve noticed is that there’s not a ton of information about Rails in languages like Spanish or Portuguese. For many aspiring developers in South America, the lack of advanced technical English can make learning programming concepts even harder. That’s why I decided to make this blog multilingual, covering Spanish, Portuguese, and English. My goal is to make these ideas more accessible while still keeping things global.

A bit about me:

I’m a backend software engineer with over 5 years of experience. My fascination with computers started young, with my very first machine—a 386 PC with a green monochrome monitor and floppy disks the size of my hand (5.25 inches, to be exact!). For me, computers are the best gadgets anyone could ever dream of owning.

I love challenges and spend my time on my computer solving problems to make life easier for others. I firmly believe that programming exists to push humanity forward—not just to make a few people rich. If you’d like to connect or have any questions, feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn.

Thanks for stopping by!
